“To my thinking, a great librarian must have a clear head, a strong hand, and, above all, a great heart. And when I look into the future, I am inclined to think that most of the men who achieve this greatness will be women.” Did you know: some libraries use systems other than Dewey because of the specific type of books or items in their collections. There are libraries that house nothing but stuffed samples of animals for scientists to study; others have books only about art and artists. What kind of systems do you think these special collections might use? What would you suggest?

You can help! Keeping the links on a website up-to-date is a very difficult thing for one person to do. So I would greatly appreciate it if you would let me know (by clicking here) if you find links that are no longer active. Plus, if you find any new cool educational sites, let me know about those too, Thanks.
